MASSACHUSETTS  State Police

The State Police system in Massachusetts is used by a great many state
and county agencies. Here's a list of the most important ID's on the
system. The system is in a state of flux right now. Here's the latest.

This is a mammoth system with numerous sites, hundreds of talkgroups and
thousands of users. Agencies using the system, along with the State

mportant Note: The State Police talkgroups have recently been also
simulcast at +3 from their actual location, e.g. 8400 is also heard at
8403. These are believed to be patches of some sort so that other
agencies or other zones, such as MSP in the central and southeastern
parts of the state, can monitor the eastern Massachusetts groups. Any
further information would be appreciated.
